Memory reminds me of a stray dog which chews up the bone that time is. That might explain its razor-sharp teeth; biting off chunks of days and grinding mouthfuls of years. Time lies there shattered, its pieces dissolved – a tale unfolding spikes my goneness, compelling me to forget but not let go.
Time is a wild horse, kicked into a full gallop. To ride this fierce horse means staring at the racing scenery as though you were blind - or until your eyes start to burn. Achilles Nasios is a photographer, video-artist and an art teacher. He was born in Greece, studied in Prague, Berlin, Athens and Stockholm. Worked as a lecturer of photography at the Greek University. He lives and works in Sweden.
